Employees & Supervisors
Employees shall wear protective clothing pertaining to the job at hand i.e. Hard hats,safety boots, glasses, gloves and vests
All employees abide by the Ministry of Labour Rules
(green book)
Operate and maintain machinery and equipment in accordance to operation manuals
Control traffic and pedestrians as the Minister of Labour (book#7)
Handle all materials in accordance to WHMIS
Operate all motor vehicles within the Highway Traffic Act
CPR & First Aid Training provided every 12 months and is required to be updated every 24 months.
Weber's provide training in:
Confined spaces
Electrical awareness
Ladder safety
Traffic control,
Trench safety
WHMIS.
Daily tail board meeting( Traffic control plan & emergency procedures are required daily by crew members.)
Biweekly safety meeting
All employees are trained equally in Health & Safety issues through EUSA & Saint. John Ambulance.
Supervisors, Operators and labourers are equally trained on a regular basis
Supervisors enforce the training on a daily basis by ensuring all employees are following through with their OHSA duties
